Palmolive Dish Detergent

Palmolive and it's many uses are widely unknown by many women. Sure, it will wash your dishes properly and leave your kitchen sink smelling of lemon, apple or lavender. But did you know that you can use it outside of the kitchen?

I know of two really handy uses for Palmolive Dish Detergent. First of all, I highly recommend the lavender... it does the job best and it smells fantastic.

While many do not know that you should wash your makeup brushes on a somewhat regular basis, those who know about that rule don't always know what to use! Sure, you can purchase the makeup brush cleaner that they sell at the makeup counters or you can use your shampoo at home. However, the best soap to kill bacteria is Lavender Palmolive Dish Detergent. Simply mix a bowl of hot water and a few drops of the soap. Dip the tip of your brush in the bowl and suds it around in a circular motion in the palm of your hand. Let the water run down the brush (bristles pointed down) until water runs clear. To dry, place brushes on a washcloth on the counter.

Here is my favorite of the two uses. Palmolive Dish Detergent (in Lavender) is beyond fabulous to clean your bling bling! Take a small (clear, glass) dish and fill with warm water. Add a few drops of the soap and twirl around so that it mixes. Hold your ring or bling bling in the dish and swirl it in the water a few times. Place your jewelry gently at the bottom of the dish and let sit over night or until the water is cool. When you take your ring out, you will notice junk floating about in the dish. You can thank your Palmolive Dish Detergent for cleaning all the ins and outs of your jewelry!

Are you going to a bachelorette party or a bridal shower? Next time, grab a bottle of Palmolive to go along with you gift and label it "RING CLEANER" and instructions! Enjoy!
